Wells says there's a formula for Townview's success.  "Every student is an individual. Every student is different, so we have
to customize the learning for the students."  Wells says she asks
students, "What are you interested in? What can I provide you
to enhance your thirst for knowledge?"

*****FROM THE NEWSWEEK WEBSITE:  "America's Best High Schools 2010.  Each year, Newsweek picks the best high schools in the country based on how hard school staffs work to challenge students with advanced placement college-level courses and tests. Just over 1600 schools—only six percent of all the public schools in the U.S.—made the list. "

That's nearly 27,000 high schools ranked!  Townview's TAG, SEM, Law and Business Magnet Schools made it to the country's top 1%  (or top 270 high schools).    TAG and SEM garnered #1 and #4, respectively, while Law and Business Magnet Schools garnered #154 and #222, respectively.  Way to go Townview!!!.
